She was born in a family of artists in Kinmen island. Her father is a ceramist and her two brothers are renowned illustrators. She has never taken any design courses, but she showed her artistic talent at an early age. Encouraged by her family, she began her creation. When she is creating an illustration, there can not be any human existence, and the music always has to be turned up very loudly. Only under the state that she seems to be the only one who exists in the world can she draws with peace of mind. No. 56 looks at the world with a heart full of childlike innocence. She transforms the trivial things in life into the creation with simple composition but highly poetic feelings.
